Goodyear Food Hose

All Goodyear hoses having the "F.D.A." designation are in compliance with the Federal Regulation Code, Title21, Food & Drugs, Chapter 1, Subchapter B, Part 177.2600 titled "Rubber Articles Intended for Repeated Use." All ingredients used in the tube compound formulae are listed in 177.2600 and the compounds meet the requirements spelled out in the extraction tests, and are in compliance with 3-A sanitary standards for multiple use and rubber-like material used as product
contact surfaces in dairy equipment as listed in Serial #1800, Class III. They are also in compliance with USDA meat and poultry standards.

PLICORD® FOOD HOSE
Goodyear Plicord, white FDA Chlorobutyl and Chemivic® rubber tubed hoses are in compliance with 3-A Sanitary Standards, 21 CFR Part 177.2600 for multiple use of rubber-like material used as product contact surface in dairy equipment as listed in Serial #1800 under Class III, formulated by the International Association of Milk and Food Sanitations, US Public Health Service and the Dairy Industry Committee.

They are also in compliance with USDA Meat and Poultry Standards.

SPIRAFLEX® FOOD HOSE
All Goodyear PVC hoses having the FDA designation comply with FDA regulations. All components are sanctioned by the US Food and Drug Administration for food packaging applications under Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations. All Goodyear PVC hoses are in compliance with USDA Meat and Poultry Standards.

All Goodyear PVC with 3-A designation conforms to 3-A 20-14 Sanitary Standards and is recommended for transmission of raw and pasteurized milk and other high water content dairy items. They are also in compliance with USDA Meat and Poultry standards. These hoses are subject to the following use limitations:

1) limited to temperatures below 150" F, and
2) hoses shall be thoroughly cleansed prior to their first use in accordance with good
manufacturing practices.
