Application:
Use as a water cooling hose on open hearth steel mill furnaces. Light and flexible enough to be changed by one man.
Construction
Tube:
EPDM
Reinforcement:
One braid of high-tensile carbon steel wire, plus spiral fiberglass for insulation against severe external heat.
Cover:
Flexible braid of stainless steel wire, designed to prevent buildup of metal spatterings. Resists tendency for molten metal to cling to hose.
